Collaborated with a medium-large engineering team to develop and maintain an internal e-health software platform, powered by 40+ microservices running on Kubernetes clusters within AWS infrastructure.

Designed and implemented patient-facing services for creating and managing online surveys/questionnaires, enabling data collection, processing, and automation across multiple system components.

Developed an intuitive admin interface for configuring surveys and integrated the survey platform with partner applications to ensure seamless interoperability.

Contributed to the transition from legacy Ruby services to new Elixir-based microservices, including synchronization and phased decommissioning of outdated systems.

Led the development of a large-scale, custom SaaS Learning Management System (LMS) for a client, overseeing engineering, design, and project management aspects.

Some of the main features and responsibilities that I had were:

• Engineering:
  • Migrated over 40,000 users, 1,000 courses, and approximately 500,000 data records from a third-party platform to the new system.
  • Implemented advanced course progress tracking using Learning Record Store (LRS) and xAPI standards.
  • Developed robust user management with role-based permissions and feature locking.
  • Created a white-labeled solution with support for custom themes and multi-language functionality.
  • Built real-time UI updates to enhance user interactivity.
• Leadership & Design:
  • Designed the entire software platform, including user interfaces and user experiences.
  • Planned, estimated, and assigned tasks to team members, ensuring timely delivery of features.
  • Presented new features and designs to stakeholders and incorporated feedback effectively.
  • Acted as the primary point of communication with stakeholders, aligning product vision with client requirements.

Designed and developed an enterprise-level dispatching application for monitoring and reporting real-time bus events.

Implemented a robust role-based permission system to control access to actions, data, and specific application pages based on user roles.

Collaborated directly with stakeholders, delivering in-person and online presentations of new features and designs.

Operated within a small, agile three-person team, progressively taking on increased responsibilities and autonomy. By the project’s conclusion, independently managed all communication, task execution, and decision-making without supervision.

Sole developer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining two fully functional cross-platform mobile applications, successfully released on both the App Store and Play Store.

Implemented Over-The-Air (OTA) updates to enable seamless deployment of changes and improvements without requiring users to download new versions.

Ensured application stability and compatibility by proactively maintaining the software across OS updates and addressing platform-specific challenges.

Managed all aspects of the development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, and deploying, while adhering to best practices in performance optimization and user experience design.
